*le gasp* Awesome!!! I wonder where she got that scene from. Maybe it's on the new DVD sets? But no matter where it's from, that scene, it's awesome!!! Haha, though it changes the point of view on this scene. Because now we know that Sinbad didn't watch the tiller anymore because he was mesmerized by Maeve's singing... but because Maeve and Doubar were starting an argument. ;D While I'm at that though... I must say, that as much as I love to see this original version, I like the shorter one in the show better. I guess I'm too much of a softie, but I don't like how Doubar and Maeve are half-fighting there. Her telling him that he's not able to keep the tune, and him being all huffy in return. And when he accuses her of solving such situations with her moody magic... I think it just doesn't fit the idea I had developed of the two - ya know, with him regarding her as a little sister and so on. Yeah, I know, I know, even siblings fight every now and then, and still they love each other... it's just... ah, I like the shorter version more, where they sing together in harmony. But what I absolutely adore is Maeve's "Don't 'crew' me!". That's priceless and becomes one of my favo quotes from the show right away! ;D ;D ;D Heh, so much for my two cents. Sorry, guys, had to get that off my chest. But before I forget to say that: thanx for making us notice this little treasure, Kal.

I agree with Doubar, the original shorter scene has some kind of enchanted magic that this one lacks. But is SO SO SO good to see the Nomad's crew in something new after so long. When has been tha last time we had a goodie like this? I really hope there are others. ;D ;D ;D

the original shorter scene has some kind of enchanted magic Yep, that's exactly it. But you're definitely right: it is so very great to see them in something new! And personally, for me the last goodie if this kind was the very first fanvid I watched. ;D It was at a time when I has somewhat just re-discovered my love for the show, and so I tried my luck on YT ... where I found some yewels that I still love, even though the technique of making vids had improved and changed so much till then (mostly thanx to our video queen Kal ). Anyhow, I remember how I excited I have been back then to see something "new" - even though it were only scenes taken from the show. But this one, which really is unknown but canon, is most amazing. And I agree with you: I really hope there are other deleted scenes that we might get to see one day.

That was SO Maeve! I can't believe she found that! I thought that to be lost! I had seen it, when it was aired with the ep as a blooper, but they stopped it and never showed those again! I had thought it was cut and trashed, honestly! I'm very glad she found it! ************ So, in those trivia pics, so many alter egos they played...possible story lines???

Wow, you guys have some really awesome stuff going on there Always so nice to have a look around that website *likes* Still need to take some time to read through all of them though. Btw, the longer version was really interesting to see but I´d agree with the majority here that the shorter version was more fitting and had a better place in the episode as such.

@kal: Lol, I know you showed us so many times already, but I still gasp everytime I see Dan Pawlick in all those many roles. Because in each one he looks totally different! I really am sooo bad at recognizing faces, and I'm lost when they change their appearance this much! So even though I know by now that all these figures are played by the same man, I somehow still can't believe it. Dan really is a great actor! ;D And amazing trivia. I really didn't know that they had planned for Rongar to die in ep2. I mean, I knew (I guess someone here on DL said it) that originally he was not destined to stay on board, but that just like Mustapha he was meant to die... poor Rongar! Well, good enough Oris impressed them so much as that they kept him. The crew and show would have lost an invaluable member with him!

@2k The trivia part is a wonderful idea. Your page is becoming so rich. Looks like the production recycled a lot of actors during the serie . Maybe I don’t remember correctly, but Laura Steed (Mala) wasn’t the one who played Prince Xander’s mother too? @doubar Rongar was supposed to die? Oh Noes!! I’m glad they decided to keep him. I would have let Mustapha stay too. He was soo interesting. And funny.
