Yeah, the connecting of generations was actually the prime thought about this little shot, and I really am glad that you like it.

Hehe, and as for a shot about Maegs... actually I must admit that originally I wanted to write one about her. But then suddenly this one came to be instead. But maybe I'll get around to writing the Maegs-one, too.

Don't worry about missing out on the little story at all. I didn't make a fuzz about it so it wasn't exactly hard to not notice I had posted something. But of course, that made it all the more awesome when I had that review alert from FFN in my mails.

Aww, and I really am SO glad you like it. I know it's an experiment in many ways, not only in the style I used.
You're right btw. the perspective I used is rather peculiar. For a huge part this is a what-if-she-had-to-go and at the same time we all know that she will, and so does the narrator. But I really liked the thought of a close-to-S2 shot of that kind.

And you're right btw.: In this shot Sinbad knows just too well what might happen if he lost her, and he's scared of it. So much so that he denies himself to realize whate he feels is love. Which is not the best way to deal with that for we all know what is bound to happen (also and especially in regard to how M/S fans like to interpret the change in Sinbad's character). But - and you are right there, too - I would like to think that this ordeal can actually make him stronger and more confident in what he feels. So that in the end he can finally label his emotions as love indeed.

It's deep and heartfelt, and serious, and whimsical, and thoughtful, and so emotional...IT'S TOTALLY Your style! I love it!

I read all parts of this story and this is so wonderful. As a big fan of relationship between Maeve/Sinbad and Doubar/Bryn i am very glad that they are together and that they are so happy. The inclusion of the reminiscence of Mala was also very nice.

It is a little shame, that we do not know a little more about the future's lives Firouz and Rongar, I know that this was mainly about Doubar/Bryn but a little more information would have pleased me because i believe that they will be close to their friends and their children as two irreplaceable uncles.

But i really like this story and I am going to read some of your next stories.

You're right though, it's a bit of a shame that I didn't yet mention anything about Rongs and Firouz having found happiness, too, isn't it? I guess I just never really thought that far. But hey, it's not like there's no chance for a chapter like this to come to life one day. I write for this series whenever muse kisses me, and who knows - maybe, one of these days, she might just create some lovely cousins for the two girls.
