Caipra: ;D ;D ;D He would have judge us anyway... *snortgiggles* How very true! ;D @sarah: You know how we mean it. Caipra: Oh, something I noticed though: shall we, too, add our names to the vids just like the guys in the LotS vid did? *isn't sure though if she knows how to do that but has idea already how it should work with her programme*

@doubar: As you want. Personaly, I can't do it with WMM. You know those people are used to make vids and they always but their signature in it. But don't worry, I planned to put all the names in the end credits anyway.

Caipra: Alright. Well, I'll just try then I guess. I have an idea how I might be able to do it with my programme but if in the end it'll work, I don't know anyways. xD And why I was asking anyway: This is not about me and pride or anything. But I noticed, while watching the LotS vid, that I found it to be nice to see when a new part started (i.e. when the part of another fanvidder started).

Yeah, but I think that the goal of this vid is that no one know who made what...except the participants...don't you agree?

Caipra and doubar: a program called ULEAD has the ability of putting signatures on vids and other many programs but about putting names on it please don't count me on this. I mean I'm going to do that and make my part in the vid. but I prefer to write DL team or something instead of names or so on

alex: I'm not talking about real names Bryn, I'm talking about nicknames, the one you use for youtube.

Caipra: I know dear friend ! I didn't doubt in that one what i was talking about is that this vid is suppose to be a teamwork that made by all members of this board. so putting names there will not achieve the purpose. it just will divide into too many shots. who will see this one will admire the work of the whole group. he will not prefer part over another. because without the part of Doubar for example, Bryn's part won't be good, caipra's part won't be brilliant and so on. it's like a circle. so i think just putting this remark(i.e DL team) will make it better. the watcher will not admire a certain maker. we all have different abilities but he will admire the whole project as a teamwork. my very personal opinion !

Yes, I totally agree with you. But by putting the names at the end of the vid, no one will know who made what. People who will watch that vid will only knowing that 4 or 5 persons took part on it but that's it. I will NOT write "Doubar made the first part, Bryn the second one etc..." Besides, when they will see the nicknames at the end end of the vids they may want to see the other works of each person.

Well, whatever you decide on, is fine with me. I was just thinking that in our story, we, too, have made clear who writes whom in the intro. And of course is the main purpose of the project to make a harmonious vid - which at its best would mean the viewer doesn't even notice there were several poeple working on it. And I did not mean to sound like I wanted to be the lonesome wolf who insists on standing out, but what we have to keep in mind is that it's gonna be posted under Caipra's account ... and not everyone reads the descriptions on YT *grins at Sarah* ... meaning the collab work could come across as a vid made by Caipra only (which depending on how the vid turns out to be, would either be bad or good for her ;D ). And finally the intention of a collab work I think is to show that several poeple worked together. It's the fun of it and makes it be more interesting. Again I can only tell from what I noticed with the LotS vid: even if I have never watched the series and for sure don't know any of the fanvidders, I wanted to know who made which part. Just to ... dunno ... it was something I personally felt I need to know. *shrugs, smiles* However, not adding a signature to the vid is fine with me as well. I do not insist on making clear who made which part - all the more if not everyone feels comfortable with this. edit: Yeah sure we can simply add the nick names at the end of the vid.

I absolutely don't want that the the viewers think I made this video myself. It would not be fair for you. That's why I insist for every nickname to be put in the video. The way it should appears is another problem.

So basically, this video is like one big project. And from an ethical standpoint, all credits need to be stated at the end. This is not who made what. This is just a list of the collaborators nicknames. And I personally think it should all flow together, meaning there is no breaks. That also makes it harder, because the compiler might have to add transitions. @sarah: You as our judge? Oh, heaven forbid! You'll criticize every little bit. xD Oh, I'm nice. ;D
