Not talking trees. Ents.  That´s a difference. The ents were created by Yavanna Kementari the demigoddess that created fruits and plants and animals. They were created to protect the trees from the evil creatures of Morgoth because whereas animals can run away, plants can´t and Manwe, the most powerful of the demigods granted Yavanna, his mate, creatures for protection. |
