That should be the first episode of season II, The Sacrifice.
It ends with a vision that Sinbad has of Dim DIm where he is told that Maeve is safe with him.

I use this topic, because actually i'm looking for an episode too. It's season 2, Bryn gets kidnapped by someone i can't remeber and to cut off her powers this lady (i think i remeber is a lady) takes from a box "the hand of a hanged man" and lit it as it was a candle, saying that it would block her powers, was it the right hand or the left hand? i haven't seen season two since ages and i can't remeber this particular  Do you remeber wich episode was? |
