Heh, no, actually Maeve had registered earlier and had taken the name Maevelynn on her own. Rumi registered after Maeve did.
And who cares? Most times you write pms you use the little button below the avatar anyway. Or you click on the member's profile and then go ot "send pm". I hardly ever write in the name of the one I want to send it to on my own. So that won't be a problem. Just the more since both - the Taluhlah and the Tal (or whatever name she would give that one) account belong to the same player.

Then why did Rumina choose her username to be Maeve? That makes no sense.

@sarah: Well, both filtered in with only a few days difference. And originally I adviced Sinbad to contact Electra for playing Maeve (because telling from her stories was sure she would make for a great Maeve). However, Maeve was faster and well, first come first serve - so Maevelynn was assigned as Maeve and Rumi, who came in a few days after her, chose on another character. And well, she became the best Rumina I can ever imagine while Maeve is doing great on her character as well. So, hehe, you could say everything had its reason. And each one got a character they are filling with life and on which they are doing great. *bows to Rumi and Maeve for their work*

Aye, I see. Wonders what would have happened if I signed by earlier. After all, I did wait about a month for response from Nili.

Dunno what would have happenedif you had filtered in earlier. Maeve and Rumi have been here very shortly after DL had been opened so I guess Maeve the character would still belong to Maevelynn. And since I highly doubt you would have wanted to play Dermott I guess nothing much would be different.

I wonder why no one chose Bryn from the people who signed up first I mean mody joined a bit later so ....

Because at the beginning we didn't even know whether to include Bryn at all. All we knew was that we wanted to head towards S1 again - meaning Maeve should be back and the whole outline should resemble that season again. So first of all we tried to cover the essential characters for that one. And ... shhhh... I'm telling you a secret now. I thought of Bryn and Dermy, too, before going for Doubar. But I decided that both would be senseless for the start because first of all we needed the crew itself (and you got to consider that we didn't know whether DL would ever attract enough poeple to get the rpg going). Dermott could have been written in and Bryn - well I just told you that at the beginning we didn't even know whether to includer her or not. And so I decided who of the crew I would like best and since I knew I could not write out Maeve (though she's always been my fav character) I went for the Tubby. ;D
And well, then Mody came and signed in for Firouz. And afterwards he asked for getting Bryn, too. We discussed about it and the outline of our play and came to the conclusion that we would head off where the show ended - and thus would integrate Bryn.

well, i won't be that surprised if the board was like that at the first place. I loved season 1 and i loved the fics made by those brilliant guys in liz and jan site. although there was no Bryn
but having her changed my mind a little. first i thought that it will be so good to include her and that came from reading Electra's fics with Bryn in. then thought that including her means a good hope as i watched hell house after that and was way sad for Maeve wasn't maeve. so seeing the board starting from the end of the show was very good point as it makes me think that the guys now is on their way to reunite again and have more fun with rumi who i missed during season 2 a lot ;D .and that too will attach the board to the show and won't make big differences .

Hehe, yeah, in the end we decided on writing on and starting off where the show ended. But in the very first days, we hadn't decided on anything yet. We only knew that we wanted to ship Maeve and Sinbad. That's all. But aya, I, too, like how everything turned out to be and that in the end we decided for the current plot and sticking to the show this much.
And aya on liz and jen's fics. They have been brilliant and I really enjoyed reading them.

Haha, oh my. I still remember those days when you started to rp Bryn and admitted that in fact you didn't really like her. It's good to know that things changed for you.
