I think the idea Firuouz had is very nice in connection to Rumina´s plotting. I just wrote Maeve a pm, which basically goes like this: Rumina finally somehow manages to get Maeve away from Dim-Dim´s protection and Maeve is magically taken to some village / Basra where she appears all of a sudden. The villagers, thinking she is in line with dark magic, attack her. Other possibility, the place she ends up is already under attack. Sinbad and the crew arrive to help the villagers (of course this is no accident but RUmina´s plan) and Sinbad finds Maeve. Whether accidental in a suddenly swords at each other´s throats or as in unconscious because maeve was knocked out by someone / burried under something, I leave up to you. I´m posting this here because I would like to get a conensus which means: are you fine with it or no? If everyone can agree with some of this, please tell me aye

Sure, I agree, just it is not Rumina's plan. (She does not know she brought back Maeve, and she really does not want to reunite Maeve and Sinbad. That would be more trouble for her. She intended to kill her in Dimdim's dimension, but, once again, it backfired, but not injuring Rumina this time, and the energy of the spell brought back Maeve.) Sinbad just saw smoke from the burning village on the ship and headed to shore. Kind of like the beginning of Return of Rumina.

Okay, sorry, didn´t have that in mind. Sounds fine to me, too. So that would still leave Maeve being taken somewhere then as you suggested. Works for me.

Of course merging Talya and my idea (from Plot thread), Maeve could be transported to a village, Sinbad notices it is under attack from sea, the crew go ashore and run to the village to help, and Maeve and Sinbad happen to bump into each other, raising their swords to each other's throats before they notice who the other is.

I'm sorry but I think I missed something over there. I totally missed this setting up already been decided, and I was planning something TOTALLY different with Talya and Plunkett. You just had to start on Basra and we were ready for you o.o

Basically, it does not really matter where we start. We can have it be Basra, that´s totally fine We just need to decide on how we bring Maeve in

But where's the fun for you all if I spill the beans before you get to play it ? :-\ We said that Maeve is still locked up with Dim Dim, isn't her? I didn't really need anything else to lead her to you, since we set that it was Rumina's plan reuniting them.
By the way, if we want to detail it down, let's detail it down. I'll change what I had set.

*pulls the breaks* Okay, I guess this was my fault. I do not want to ruin th plans RUmina and Talya have, because I am sure they are great and will offer a lot of fun to be played out. So I say: we play them. What I wante however, was to coordinate things with Maeve. Will she be in the picture of Rumina´s plans in Basra already? Or should the reunion take place after Rumina has had her way with the crew first? I don´t want you guys to give away your plotting (that would be spilling the beans, I agree), I´m just having a little coordination problem right now because I don´t want to decide things over Maeve´s head and I don´t know in how far she comes into the Basra plans already.

Let's say that in my plan Maeve doesn't need to be in Basra at the beginning. She's still locked up

Okay All right, everyone. The point we are at right now: (and again, sorry for the confusion) [glow=red,2,300]Outset: The crew sail towards Basra to get some fresh food and water. Rumina has her plans for Basra, together with Plunkett and Talya. Details of the Maeve / crew reunion do not need to be settled yet, but we can keep discussing them I guess.[/glow] This way, Rumina and her minions can start scheming against the rest, we have an introduction to the reunion and we can start rp-ing very soon What ye say, mateys?

Good Gah, getting all of you guys around a table would make things so much easier to coordinate in the beginning

I am free from 3:00 to 7:00. I am not sure what time that would be considering time zones. I just live in Raleigh, North Carolina, United States.
I am fine with anything. Maeve could appear later on, but I prefer it being a surprise. And I don't see any logic of have Rumina want to reunite Maeve and Sinbad. Why would she want to do that?

Sinbad just happens to be the one with more chances to work through Dim-Dim's wards. That's the only thing that matters to Rumina. The big, happy, tearful, disgusting reunion doesn't really mind her: she's about to destroy them, together or not.

Okay, just make sure it is logical. I know that is not easy for a witch.
