Hm, let me try to explain then: this word is being used when somebody - like you did - does another one a favour or is nice to them only to be liked by them. Meaning: they did not do it out of generosity or because they like them, but only to be regarded as nice and friendly by them. Often enough it is used when for example an employee tells his boss how great he thinks he is an how good his decisions are even though in reality he hates his boss or at least feels indifferent about him.

And, no, Rongar has no wife. Zora is his sister. So you might think about that possibility. ;D

Oh. Hm, I don't know how to explain it. "Stuck up" means snobbish. "Suck up" means to drink. Maybe "to cling to."
