The rule was made because traditionally on a board that has many female players, there tends to be more female characters than male and that would be strange for a ship crew. Therefore, sure that rule might be lifted at some point of the story lets it look reasonable. You just don't get it, do ya. @doubar: I replied. ;D

Actually, I get you very well. However, the discussion is over for me now because it´s just about nitpicking right now and I don´t see much sense in that. Whisper: Take your time dear. No pressure for you to go this way or that. Just give it some thought and you can decide whenever you want and ask for help if you need any to fledge out character backgrounds etc. There is no force to rp right away, we´re a rather easy going community when it comes to this.

And to end this annoying war which I still don't get what you (Sinbad, Doubar) don't get: @whisper: Yes, I would suggest you just any character you want, and then we will tell you what can happen with your choice of character.
Now I'm off.

Hm, Season I characters. The only one I can think of is Eyolf, but free free, Whisper, to choose anybody.
And aye, how about Turok destroyed Baghdad (or took over Baghdad) and killed the Caliph and Prince. However, Adena managed to escape and took refuge in Basra. Turok plans to follow her. Adena could join the crew in which they will protect her from Turok.

Adena sounds like a cool idea for me. I´d opt for not bringing her in right away though. We could have a great plotline with her and Turok destroying Basra could work out really well if we see this in the greater scheme of things as in the struggle of the baddies vs. the goodies that is starting in the rpg´s story. Therefore, yep, Adena is a great idea, but I wouldn´t bring her in directly, not after maeve´s with the crew again because if we did that we´d give away some great potential of the character. However, if this goes into the direction Firouz suggested with Turok destroying Basra, there might be the chance of you and Turok doing some rp-ing already, maybe with the two characters clashing and having some sort of conflict that later leads to the desctruction of Basra as a sort of revenge or something.

@sinbad: Turok destroyed (or took over) Baghdad, where Adena was princess. Basra will hold because of Omar's forces, but it would be wise to take Adena on board. Bryn can protect her. After all, she is Turok's daughter. Caipra would probably suggest this, since she is the only one who knows the Bryn is Turok's daughter.
And I can see Turok replacing Casib at Adena's side. ;D
However, I don't see why we have to wait for Adena to join us.

I´d be opting for "take over".

Yes, just like Rumina tried to replace Adena, Turok could replace Casib. ;D

Doing something like that could be cool, cause Rumi and Co. might want to try and expand their power at some point. Taking over A city like Baghdad would do the trick of course.

Wow, talk about BIG plans there! Question: should these thoughts about Whisper be made without asking Turok and Rumina themselves? I'm sure they could accomodate the plans for Adena into their evil plots, but it will effect their characters equally if not more so than ours in a way, right? But the clashings in Baghdad could be easily made! And adding chapters to DL on FF.Net is easy enough to do to if we have to add another first chapter or something.... Question 2: why couldn't she just be a guest star (like Adena) but have a back story with evil Bryn and Rumina? She doesn't have to be a wizard/witch/magician/sorcerer/sorceress/healer/ect....but a simply country girl who has lost everything due to the evil sisters and wants her revenge as some if not ALL people did back in those days (eye for an eye; and all that). (places hands in front of her to ward off protests and what-nots from all sides) Let me finish please, who she chooses to be or not be as the case might be, is her choice and hers alone. I'm just wondering. After all, we have all these wonderful skilled heavily influential people in this plot, why not have a simple, ordinary person following their darker emotions in their quest for revenge? It'd be a change from all the extraordinary ones we have running around here.

Question: should these thoughts about Whisper be made without asking Turok and Rumina themselves? That´s a requirement of course. For now that´s merely brainstorming.
