*starts to gasp but all too soon feels his lips being captured in a kiss* *is too surprised to response, feels his cheeks take on a deep red colour and is grateful that his beard hides most of it; after some moments brakes apart* Wow, Bryn ... *is lost of words* ... I mean ... wow, why ... *knows he's babbling nonsense but can't think straight now anways* *out of the corner of his eyes sees Sinbad still lying ontop of this bench and only for a second thinks about escaping by going to help him up*

*out of the corner of his eyes notices Rongar staring at the two of them but for once doesn't care; listens to Bryn and lets her words sink in, nods slowly* I see. *sounds slightly hurt at first, then sighs and takes on a serious tone* And I will always be good to you. But love is a special thing, Bryn. And one should never trifle with it.

*winces once again and would like to ask her to come in but is shure she would only yell at him again* *quickly steals a glance over his shoulder to make sure he's out of earshot for the others, then plucks up his courage and - since Bryn most likely was not going to let him in or come out to talk to him - starts to talk while still standing there* I will not go away. Listen, Bryn. I never meant to hurt you. *sighs silently and carries on with a soft voice* But what you said sounded like I was ... *tries to chose his words wisely but knows he can't do anything but simply explain it* ... but a substitute for Sinbad. *prepares himself for being yelled at again*

*notices the door opening and cannot help but feel relieved* *listens intently to what Bryn has to say, nods slowly as he does so; then softly begins to speak* I only ... when you said that I had been good to you and you grew fond of me ... it sounded like ... *lets his voice trail off, lifts his gaze to meet hers* If you are sure about what you feel then ... *takes a breath* ... then I think I can.
Oh dear. So you won. But, hehe, maybe it's a good idea to first try this out in the tavern. It might be good to know whether the two of them harmonize at all (after all there's always us authors "within them" as well  ). |

OOC: *mutters something under her breath* I sure am not. But this is the internet. So where would the reason in arguing be? Definitely. It wouldn't be good at all if we noticed it in the story that something like that doesn't work. 'Caus then we would have already started it and getting out of it again would be quite a problem me thinks.  Furthermore I cannot promise I really can put myself into Doubar's shoes. I mean, I can tell from the show how he acts around the crew but only once had he fallen in love with someone ... and I definitely cannot let him act like that the whole time. *thinks it to be quite cute how Doubar acted in the singing sword but knows it would be ridiculous to let him act like that all the whole time Bryn is around* No, stupid.  I was referring to the fact that we are only friends (sorry to disappoint you there) and not lovers and I cannot tell whether I'll really be able to act as a Doubar who has fallen in love with Bryn.  |

I´m playing a character who reaaaally cares for her guy (damn, that chick has given me a hard time now and then with her emotional character) which leads to me being totally able to understand and partly channel her feelings... even though her guy´s player is a girl and I don´t swing that way, so... yeah, that´s definitely possible. *nods* ;D @doubar / Firouz: I thought me and Rongar would wait for Bryn and Derm to come back cause there isn´t anything totally interesting going on right now anyways other than unloading the cargo. I more thought that Bryn would come back with something like "Half an hour later...:" etc. etc. into the thread and we continue from there. |

OOC: @sinbad: Yeah, well. This is just why I think it's a good idea to first try it here. I have never rp-ed before and in those little stories I wrote as well as in the pr till now I simply "copied" what we have been given in the show. With Doubar starting a relationship with Bryn I would have to use this and modify it to the new situation. And this is something I cannot tell if I'll be able to do it properly. *shrugs* Oh, and about the plotting: would be fine with me as well. This way Doubar can simply be there with the others without needing any explanation for it. |
