Oh. *is being astounded* In this case. *bows slightly* Shall we, my Lady. *reaches his arm out fot her to take it* *tilts head towards Sinbad* Mind if I let you alone, little bro? You may wish to talk to Maeve anyways. *smiles warmly*

*smiles, takes Doubar's arm* Certainly. *walks off with Doubar, the man of her dreams, with her head resting on his shoulder*

[Sinbad]

*raises an eyebrow at Bryn and Doubar and is now left alone standing opposit of Maeve again*

[Doubar]

*looks down to the sorceress who suddenly lets her head rest on his shoulders* Everything alright? You tired, girl? *sounds worried*

*looks at Doubar* No. I am just glad to be with you.

OOC: Do you like it? I was thinking about adding it to the story. Actually, I already put hints like when Doubar and Bryn was talking, she thought to herself about Doubar rather affectionately. "...smiles. Always the gentleman. "

*smiles, blushes just a little* Oh, well. *doesn't know what to say, is glad they reached the dance floor* So, ah, shall we start?

OOC: Hm, well, I cannot say if I like it or not. It will depend on how the whole story develops. Till now Doubar didn't really notice anything - which is no big deal since you only gave the hints in her thoughts that I as the real person noticed (and already suspected something like her starting to feel attracted by him) but he of course didn't. Well, just like I said: it will depend on different things (most of all I guess the pace). She's a good friend to him and he likes her, but I can't tell you how he would react should she show him openly what she's about to feel towards him.
I'd say: simply try and let Bryn decide what to do. It sound strange but try to let her take over command. And if she should really feel attracted by him then we'll see what will come out of it. But I warn ya, just like you cannot always make sure it's not you who's speaking when you write a post I cannot cut myself out of Doubar completely as well.

*looks up at the big man, smiles* Yes. *takes one hand and places it on his shoulder, takes the other hand and puts it in Doubar's hand*
*starts dancing, step one, step two, step three, step four*

OOC: Oh, this is Bryn, not me. Bryn has grown tired of trying to get Sinbad, and she really likes Doubar, so she thought of giving him a try. She still likes Sinbad but as a friend now. Why chase somebody if she knows he is in love with Maeve?

And I will be slow and subtle, very subtle.

*takes Bryn's hand with his right one and places the other on her back* You're a good dancer, Bryn. *smiles, tries hard to make sure he's not stepping on her feet*

Uh, well, then do what she feels she has to do. I will try and concentrade on what Doubar feels. And being slow and subtle is good I think. It's more natural for Bryn to slowly develop feelings - especially since, as you as well pointed out, had she initially fallen for Sinbad.

Oh, but, one thing though: Just to make sure. Should they really get to end up as a couple (which as I told I cannot say at the moment) I won't rp any mature scenes. Think we haven't decided on the rating of our rpg yet but I for one won't do them.

This, btw, is something I wanted to adress at some point, anyways.
I would like to keep this board PG13 so it doesn´t get anyone uncomfortable etc. I think it is easy to orientate at what is shown in the show and what isn´t shown.

The other board I´m at, mature scenes are allowed, but it´s more fitting there anyways and no one really feels uncomfortable about it.

All in all, I´d like to add a PG13 rating with regards to mature scenes to the rules, y´all.

Usually it´s done like this on PG13 boards: Fade to black. Just like in PG13 movies or fanficitns.
On a board it´s either played out or it isn´t. It depens on the set rating and on whether players feel comfortable with it. Therefore, I won´t forbid "mature scenes" to be continued via pm, but everybody should respect a "no" from the other player, too.
