I do. The voices of the dead are all around you. I thought I saw my dead cat, Snuggle, coming out of the bathroom. She always loved to drink water from the faucet. Also, my aunt said she saw my grandfather, who past away nine years ago, when she was in the hospital. She believes he was coming to check on her. Finally, my uncle, who used to go pray for those who past away, was driving when he suddenly felt his car being pulled back. He looked in his rear mirror and saw a dozen ghosts pulling his car back to the bridge where they committed suicide and were floating in the river below. He says they wanted a proper burial. They let him go, of course, once assured.

I´m not sure if I believe in ghosts. I once saw a documentary wherea team of scientists was examining cases of haunted places and the results they had was that places like Edinburgh Castle for example had so called infrasound which is sounds that are too deep (or was it too high?) for human ears to hear and which can cause hallucinations. Then there were cases where things moved without anyone being there where scientists suspected ...how do you call this moving-things-with-your-mind again? Therefore I´m a bit sceptical.
However, this is me talking who never had a ghost-sighting experience and also I think we have to keep in mind that there are still a lot of things that science has not tracked down and explained. Even simple things such as dreams are not properly explained, therefore, when my mind is able to form realistic dreams in which I am aware that I am dreaming and where I can see and perceive the world around me clearly, sure, why shouldn´t there be hings that we can´t explain yet and which have to do with the way energy travels, how everything is connected or even ghosts?

Hehe, sounds like this has been one of the Galileo-specials. Have seen that, too. ;D Well, I for one do not know whether to believe in ghosts or not. I've never seen one (and to be honest I hope I never will - it would give me a heartattack if I would) and don't know any who have. But as I believe in souls I guess I cannot really negate the possibility of trapped souls that are the foundation of the whole ghosts-thing... P.S.: @sinbad: aye, infrasound's too deep.

Haha, I knew it! ;D
Oh, and btw: that moving-things-with-your-mind's called telekinesis. In the show there's been that family I think which suspected one of their members to be a telekinetic 'caus she was able to move a compass' needle without touching it. However, what they found out was hat the family's flat was next to the elevator and everytime this one passed it, the electromagnetic field it generated moved the needle. It's been nothing but a coincidence. ;D

Well, I had a dream of my sister wearing a green Apex shirt one night, and the very next morning she was wearing the exactly same shirt in my dream. How do you explain that?

Well, I believe in ghosts and I even have some freaky experiences to prove it... But the weirdest of them all is that, a couple of years ago, when numeric cameras were not quite as popular as today, I took a series of photos and when I had the film developed, there was this one picture, no one could really pinpoint what it really was, but in the top right corner, you could kinda see the profile of a skull, as if a spirit had passed real fast in front of the lens... Here it is: Its a picture I took from the original paper one to upload it on my computer...sorry if it's too big... You can clearly see the big empty eye socket and it appears as if it's smiling... Lol...my post was #666 of the Off topic chit chat...

@firouz: This could be chance. Or maybe your sister mentioned she would be wearing that shirt the other day and even though you don´t remember it, your brain saved the information and brought it in with the dream. However, dreams can be rather interesting. Have you ever heard of the concept of lucid dreaming? Rumina: Whoa, that´s kind of creepy

Aye, whenever I look at it, I get shivers running down my spine...
What is the concept of lucid dreams?

Aye, would be interested in that, too. And about the pic: hm. Thing is you always see what you want to see. When I looked at the right corner (before readin what you had written) I saw a shadow formed like a sunflower. As if you had tried to photograph a painting with flowers on it but it became blurred. Only now after I read your lines I can see that skull, too. It's a pretty simple thing. Our brain tries to convert strange information into something it can work with. That principle is also being used in some psychologic tests where you are being presented some inkblots and have to say what they are shaped like in your eyes. Psychologists believe that this can give information about the person's way of thinking... However, what I rather saw in that pic was a "face" at the right bottom of the pic. The two dark dots represent the eyes and the grey at the edge the nose. But that's because I have seen such in some film a while ago. So, sorry, think you needn't worry about this one. And besides, with studying meds and in the process learning about anatomy I find skulls to be pretty cool. P.S.: Just wanted to say: hey, that skull's smiling so friendly. So even when imaging this to be a ghost, it seems to be a rather happy one. ;D

Lucid dreams are dreams when you are aware that you are dreaming. It´s basically something everybody can do, but for some it´s easier than for others. It doesn´t happen often. Some experience just a hand full of lucid dreams in their whole life, others have them rather often. It´s something that can be trained. So what´s cool about it is that once you know you are dreaming, you can learn to influence your dreams because basically it all happens in your mind. You can do whatever you want to do, but that needs a lot of training. I mostly suck at it so my lucid dreams are usually like low budget movies.
