@sinbad: So does that mean Rongar did never really write that? Mala: Just in case you really wrote it: I still have a year or so before my friends and I can go back to England... Does that mean that originally you're from England?

No, it mean that maybe Rongar was replying to a post that no longer exists. Over at the other board we had something that we came to call "the board ghost". A bug that would randomly delete some pages in the out of character area. could be possible her, too.

everyone, I was talking about the banners Rumina(was it her or Dermott??) was posting before. It showed the coastline of South Africa. I thought they were posted on this thread (banners)before a day or so ago, so I posted after them. I'm originally from Texas, but for the past five years I have been vacationing in Great Britain during the summer breaks, and that was what I was talking about. I couldn't go this summer as our economy went bad and prices skyrocketed. Does this answer some of your questions?? Sorry if I caused a few problems.

Rongar: It totally answers the question, thanks for clarification ;D *whipes her forehead* Phew, and I already thought we had that bug here, too. Firouz: No, it can´t be shut off. It never happened to any in character threads over at the other board, but we use to have long chatting threads and it could happen that all of a sudden the last couple of pages were simply gone.

@sinbad: Ewww. Hope it doesn't bother us one day. But if it did then most likely it would hit the welcome chat, wouldn't it? It's so long and I can imgaine it's the length of a thread that causes the problems. *is just having a guess* Mala: Aww. Where abouts did you go to if I might ask? Oh, and yeah, thanx for the clarification.

Yes, it´s usually the length of threads if I remember correctly. I also remember that I have had in character threads that were 80 pages long and that was never a problem. Btw, this is also the reason why at some point, I will simply open a new thread for our random chatting, just to avoid that problem.

@sinbad: Very smart!!! @doubar: I've been to Scotland where we stayed at Kilconqure (not sure if that's the right spelling) Castle, we went to Loch Ness and visitied Uhquart Castle there, we saw the burial place for King Bruce (in the movie Braveheart...you know Bruce-the guy that betrayed William and then carried his tissue into battle??), we saw the monument dedicated to William Wallace, we went to Sertling Castle, we went to St. Andrews and saw the Rule Tower (up to 300 hundred very steep VERY thin stairs-very tiring walk up ), we visited St. Andrew's cemetary, and saw William Wallace's burial chamber along with St. Andrew's College. In England I stayed in London and visited the Parilment buildings, the Queen's museum, Buckingham Palace, Winsor Castle, Eton, The Tower of London, the royal jewels, Queen Anne's garden, Big Ben, Hyde Park, walked pretty much everywhere we needed to except when it was VERY far and we rode the trains and the tubes, and then we went to Newcastle in Northumbria where we visited the old Roman Wall there, Hadrian's Wall and saw the Roman baths, toured the lands, saw the old wall and a portion thathad the names of the builders carved into it, we also saw the old fort that existed there...Fort Segedunum or otherwise known as Walls End because that was the end of the wall on the western coast of England. I really want to go back because there is STILL so much to see and we hadn't even scratched the surfice of London...nevermind other places like the Wall, Manchester, ect...

Well I'm hoping to go back to London, go to another portion of the Wall and see a true representation of the Roman Empire, and I was hoping to see Nottingham Forest.

YAY! Nottingham Forrest! Wanted to go there too but the others I've been with didn't. *grumbles* Hey, have you ever been to the "Robin Hood" museum (my memory tells me it was sort of a museum but most likely it's been named another way ).

Hmm, has not been a museum of that kind. The Tales of Robin Hood 30-38 Maid Marion Way Nottingham NG1 6GF United Kingdom Rather an exhibition hall that held funny stuff like "Shoot the Sherif" - you can try handling a longbow there (for an extra fee though). But if I am right, I just found some news that it closed this spring.
