He totally rocks that lilac ;D
Casib is a character I wish I could have seen further in S1. When married, maybe less childish than he was. Too bad, so many characters would have been interesting to follow throughout the serie but s2 seems to be so far from the original storyline (the quest for DimDim for example).

Totally agree on that one. ;D And so true. S2 seems like a completely new series at times. I mean, if it wasn't for the guys, the ship, Tetsu and Scratch you would hardly think it to be the same show. And mentioning DimDim here and there didn't really safe the thing either. Hah, but yes, it would have been cool to see more of Casib in S1. He and Adena were really cute together, and I bet that he would have made a good Prince at last.

I think so, too. He's the kind of character you almost despise at first, then learn to appreciate, especially the way he seemed to be truly and deeply in love with Adena (the only thing about which he reacted ''manly'' about, and not like a spoiled child).
Was Cairpra part of S2 ?

Aye, just like that! You really don't like him at first, but then you see how he's truly loving Adena and even really risks something for her and then you suddenly like him. Oh, plus, I think he won my heart when he got sea-sick. Lol!!! ;D
And no, Caipra wasn't part of S2. Which was *caugh* stupid because the crew did go to Basra in S2. Even twice if I remember right. But we are to believe that still they never visited her. x(

I guess when you don't follow the husband's storyline (DimDim) anymore, you don't care either about the wife. But as Rongar said, one would expect Cairpra would be helpful for Bryn. Plus, a mother figure is always nice when one of your boys is acting naughty ;D Just kidding.

Mala: Totally, yes! Throughout the whole season Bryn had only partial control over her magic. Caipra would have been able to teach her so much - which in fact would have benefitted not only the young sorceress but the whole crew as well. Fireland: Why kidding? You're totally right! ;D ;D Though, it's not like they totally abandoned the DimDim-story line. In fact, the sorcerer was mentioned and part of at least three eps. The first two of S2 and once again in Book of Before. In one he used Bryn as a medium and in the other two he "appeared" as a voice and glowing light that saved the day by telling the good guys what to do. And because of that it's even weirder I think that they never mentioned Caipra. Grr.

And no, Caipra wasn't part of S2. Which was *caugh* stupid because the crew did go to Basra in S2. Even twice if I remember right. But we are to believe that still they never visited her. x( I remember the visit of Basra only in The Beast of Basra or I missed something? But I definitely agree that would be nice to see Caipra again and her confrontation with Bryn could be interesting (and that they did not ask for her help during the encouter with the werowulf seemed really strange). And Casib... Yes, he definitely was a little annoying in the first episode, but he showed his true character in the second part. I would mark him as a little confused young man who can not find his position in the world, he was easily manipulated by people around him (there is a certain similarity with the character of Timour from The Voyage to hell, even we have the evil influenced the behaviour of his victim in both cases, in the Casib's case it was Admir, in Timour's case his dead father) but in the crisis it appears that they are the good people. Casib probably became the Caliph of Bagdad and it could have been interesting to see him as the ruler. And i would also appreciated the return of more interesting characters in season two (there were some interesting characters, but definitely less than in season one)

Did you guys know the AoS group facebook is still existing? The one run by Tim Progosh (if it's still the real him anyway, don't know)? O.o www.facebook.com/groups/6686344577/?notif_t=group_r2j_approvedI thought it had shut down with the update to fanpages and everything. But the old posts are still there (the last one's from 2011), only there's now no more than 10 members in it - which itself is no surprise considering I had to sign up again as well. *scratches head* additional: I just checked and it seems it's indeed Tim's profile. I was thinking about sharing a link to our DL fb page on his group but am not sure whether you guys'd be happy with that as well. Let me know if you are.
Manche: Humm... now that you mention it I'm not 100% certain anymore either. There must've been another ep that I thought took place in Basra or else I wouldn't have written that. On the other hand, sometimes I err - especially when it comes to S2 which I have not watched quite as often as S1.

Manche: Sure, go ahead! I have the impression Tim is quite happy to see there are still some people remembering and cherishing the show. Kriss: I think I might wait a day or two before posting a link to our page. Don't want to flood the group with posts (seeing I already made a post today). Or should I add the link to the message? I don't know.

And his "-your friend Firouz" epic! 'Epic' is just the right word for that!!! Yes, I think it's a good idea to wait a day or two. In my opinion you can share it at first in the conversation as pm, telling that we all are from this active gruop of fans and then put it on the wall as well. But it's just my idea Sounds good. I shall do it like this then.

Oh squee! Now ya'll can honestly say Firouz is your friend! I would totally join except that I don't mix my fangirling with my regular life if I can help it and making up another FB account *cough*TK*cough* is too much like work for me. And it really wouldn't do to just PM him and be like: Yeah I am too embarrassed to join your group but please pretend to be Firouz and talk nerdy to me!
On another note: looking at the links... do not go to adult-ffn it is a cesspool. Like for serious. I will admit that I like a smutty fic every once in a while but fics that find their home on that site tend to be awful. There used to be a site called godawful fanfiction, in which GAFF was discussed with some hilarity... even they tended to side-step adult-FFN because of awfulness (which yes, is how I know to avoid that site! reputation saved!)
