I have not started yet. I try to find the perfect song...
I have some in mind, but i'd like to have your opinion ! I would either make a video about the couple Maeve/Sinbad or about the Nomad's crew. I need songs that inspires me for these videos ... Ideas?

The whole point of this story, in my opinion, is what happens when Maeve and Sinbad get back together. Will there be bloodshed, conflicts with Bryn and the such? Yes. So if you want to do a video to promote the board, then I think the whole crew should be included, but emphasize Maeve and Sinbad. I liked your video "Requiem of a dream."

@eleana: Yeah, have thought about a promotion vid, too but simply had no time to do one. And, according to what Firouz already said, I'd even think the theme "Requiem for a dream" would fit it. I imagined showing pics or rather short vids of the crew and blending in some writing that tells something about "Ever wanted to be part of the Nomad crew? Ever wanted to save the world?" ... or whatever blahblah ... and at the end something like "Then come and join us". It'd be a bit offensive but hey, that's what good promotion is like, right?
Anyways, this had just been an idea of mine. And thought maybe I should post it as you too started talking about it.

@sinbad: *scratches chin* Hm, seems we're alone again. Unfortunately I cannot promise I'll answer today 'caus of my last exam tomorrow. Gosh, can't tell you just how much I look forward to leave that behind and start off into holiday.... aaaand to finally have time for distant lands. ;D

Advertising the forum with a video is a GREAT idea.

I think it could fit, even for the lyrics, the idea of crew who is sailing in the seven seas, and after many years come back (even if only in a RPG ;D)

Anyway, there's a problem. The song is under copyright, so You Tube is delating all the videos made with it. (There was one with "Sinbad of the Seven Seas" which I liked a lot. Stupid You Tube)

Also Requiem for A Dream is nice though.

I totally love the idea of a video to promote the board I would´ve done that already but my crappy little laptop kills itself over vidding so... *kicks laptop*

As for background music, hm... difficult, cause I´m not that much a music expert. The requiem of a dream one is always good even though a bit overused

Dermott: I have to deal will that all the time. But hey, they are copyrighted, although I get mad at Warner Music Group for complaining. Youtube took off the feature wear you can download it (I think) and added a feature wear you can buy the song. This is a good way to advertise the song, because no one will buy it unless they listened to it first and liked it. Also CD quality is better.

This song could be removed, because I had a similar one removed before.

Yeah, Warner Brothers are throwing a big hissy fit about ther material on youtube these days. There is a German youtuber who uploads dubbing parodies of the Harry Potter movies nd they made a big fuss about that, too.

Oh, it´s not me I was talking about, but someone else I do not even know. But her account is rather popular for these dubs. No idea if they are still online though.
