Just wanted to let you sailors and adventurers know that Nili just sent me a message, saying that unfortunately she can't come online till about Wednesday or Thursday. Reason is that her old modem crashed and the access data for her new router won't arrive at hers before the second half of next week. Thus, she doesn't have any internet access atm.
As soon as the new router's ready to be used she'll be right back for us.

Until then, if there are any questions, you can of course always contact me.

I'm actually still offline and drove to the university library to get some undisturbed online access for a moment. Here, have some fun while I share this afternoon's conversation with your average annoying-as-hell telecom service guy.

Me: *calls stupid hotline*
Guy: Oh hi, this is telecom, how can I make your day perfect.
Me: By sending me my access data thankyouverymuch. It was supposed to be here yesterday or today, still nothing here though.
Guy: Oh I can send you new access data, they should be there by Saturday.
me: Nooo, i wanted to know whether youc an check if the letter left your place and is on the way.
Guy: Oh.. *checks* yes. should arrive tomorrow. haha, funny, if I had issued new data, the stuff that will come tomorrow would have been made invalid again.
Me: ...
Guy: Okay, is there anything else I can do for you?
me: No, that's all I wanted to check, thank you.
Guy: Buuut since I have you on the phone right now. maybe I could interest you in a special offer for the new IPhone.
me: No, thanks. i have a cell phone. Stupid. Old. Functioning. i'm not interested in an IPhone right now.
Guy: *does cheap charming thing* But well, you as a modern woman under 30 would sure love the new IPhone.
Me: For now I would love me some access data so I can actually access the world.

I want to strangle certain people right now, seriously.

Ah, and I hate these endless "ooh, don't you want an i-phone" talks. Had the same with vodafone but thank God saying "hey, I'm a student, I'm poor as a church mouse" does still work with them. xP

Yeah as a side note here in Kingman AT&T is Crap. For example.. If I had cell service with them, making a LOCAL phoen call from HOME would be ROAMING.. Yeah.. And My current service provider, Mohave Wireless, does not offer support for anything from Apple/Macintosh.

If I had the money an Android would be nice.. *Drools*
