[Caipra]

Caipra took Kriss hand and said: "My poor dear, I'm so sorry! It must have been really hard for you. I can't imagine all you've been through.
Why don't you tell me this earlier?"

[Kriss]

"I couldn't tell you this earlier. I didn't know you, you didn't ask, so I didn't tell you" Kriss looked into Caipra's eyes "but now, I'm really glad I told you that, I trust you"

[Caipra]

"I didn't want to ask you about your past...I know that everyone has his secrets."
Caipra Knew that of course. She had her secrets too...but she didn't want to reveal them to Kriss. At least...not now! After all that her friend was going through, telling her that she is a magician and that her son had powers too would be too much for her.
Caipra smiled at Kriss.
"I'm glad you trust me. I'll do anything for you and Aniel, you know that. If anything happen, if those...Vikings come here one day to hurt you, don't hesitate to warn me, I can protect both of you."
Maybe Kriss was wondering how an old woman such as Caipra could help her but...Caipra just couldn't stay here watching her and doing nothing.

[Kriss]

It was so hard for Kriss, talking about her past. Kriss started to think about Vikings again. She knew that they maight come to Basra but she wasn't afraid.
"Don't worry my dear. If they come here, I will strong enough. They didn't defaet me when they caught me,when I was weakened, so they never will"
Archer smiled evilly to Caipra.

[Caipra]

"When you look at me like that , I can only believe you" Caipra Said before laughing.
"But remember, you're not alone anymore. If you need help...call me!...Now tell me about Shaigan?"
She stopped a second.
"I mean...If you want. How was he? How did you meet each other?...Was he cute?"
Caipra tried to relax the atmosphere...

[Kriss]

Kriss gave Caipra a big smile. She knew that she can always count on her friend. She felt more safely when Caipra was around.
Old woman reminded her about Shaigan, her love, her son's father.Kriss closed her eyes and saw him onece again, she smiled and then she said to Caipra
"He was strong and handsome. He had brown eyes just like Aniel has" She closed her eyes again and imagined her lover's beautiful eyes and their first meeting.
"We met in port, then we spent wonderfull evening in one tavern and I joined his crew"
Archer smiled and looked at her son.
"Aniel looks just like Shaigan"

[Caipra]

"You seem to really loved him..."
Caipra looked at Aniel.
"It's hard for a child to be deprived of one of his parents."
*And deprived of word* thought Caipra without daring to say it out loud.
"The most important is that he is happy and that he keeps in mind that his father was a hero!"
She looked back at Kriss.
"And it's the same thing for you" She added smiling.
"So you lived on a ship? You must have seen a lot of things! I have friends who live on a ship too! Including a woman! Obviously the women don't carry misfortune on a boat anymore!
They travel a lot! I haven't seen them since...well...since more than a year..."

Kriss thought about her life on ship. She was happy there with her love by her side.
"Yes I lived on ship" Looked at her son " and Aniel too" smiled to Caipra
"So, your friends are sailors, I guess?"

[Caipra]

Caipra laughed thinking about the Sinbad's crew.
"Aha yes! We could say that! In fact the captain and his brother are sailors and they have a good crew! But there are also a scientist, a very gifted man in the throwing of knifes, he is also mute, and...a woman!"
Should she tell her that Maeve was a sorceress? Maybe Kriss ignored everything about magic, and the less she knew about it and the better it was for her! At least...for now.

Archer thought about her crew, her friends. They had also been like family. Than she backed to Caipra's words.

"Yes isn'it? Well...he is an old friend of the captain. And he loves travelling to meet people and others scientists! I haven't seen a lot of his creations but I know that he is capable of revolutionaziing a lot of thing...such as the navigation on the sea for example! He is a genius!"

Caipra was thinking about Firouz, always proud of his creations, that's why Maeve told her the last time she saw her. She should ask him more questions about that the next she'll see him.

"I'll will introduce him to you when...well, if, they decide to come here one day!"

[Kriss]

It was really interesting for Kriss what Caipra just said about that scientist.
"I hope, I will have that pleasure to meet him" Archer smiled. " And that woman. There isn't a lot of grils who lives on ships" Kriss looked at her son who had all fruit juice on him"Aniel.What have you done? Caipra, we forget about our handsome man. He needs our attention" She smiled to Caipra, got some kerchief and started to clean Aniel.

[Caipra]

Caipra smiled and looked at Kriss cleaning his son. She didn't know what to answer about Maeve...
"It's late. shouldn't you go to put him in bed? He must be tired."

[Kriss]

Kriss looked at Aniel and took him on her arms.
"Yes, he looks little tired but I can't leave the tavern and go with him. Could you please put him to bed?"

[Caipra]

"Yes, of course! And I will stay with him until you come back. I don't want to leave him alone...If he wakes up. and, besides, I don't want to bother you while you're working. I'll wait for you."

Caipra stood up and took Aniel in her arms when Kriss handed him to her.
