Whre did you read/see this Caipra? Actually it seems interesting, if the authors would have developped it properly I should say...why not? Even if I must agree that maybe Doubar is a bit old for Bryn.

I wonder about the character's ages. I never thought of this before.

Doubar´s age is what confuses me most. In the episode with the flashback about Lee´s death I´d say Doubar is maybe 6 or 8 years older than Sinbad, but generally in the show the age difference looks more. If we take Zen´s age as an indicator, Sinbad´s age in season one would be .... 27 / 28 which pretty much fits with my idea of his age. I´d say Maeve and Bryn are roughly his age, whereas Rumina would defintely be older even though she doesn´t look her age, her being a witch that practices black magic and all.

I always imagined Dermott to be around 20 or a tad younger. Firouz... mid 30s, Rongar would be around Sinbad´s age, maybe a bit younger I´d say.

Aye, that's been confusing me, too. When I wrote Doubar's bio I literally stumbled across his age. I knew he couldn't be that much older than Sinbad due to the scene with Lee you already mentioned, Nili. But when watching the show you get the impression that Doubar is at least in his early fourties ... and with this roughly 15 years older than his little brother. For the bio however I decided to go with "the bully" and leave it at those 8 years. *shrugs*

Maybe the beard makes him look older? I mean, Sinbad looks quite a bit older in season 2. He could pass for mid 20s in season 1, but in season 2 he could pass for mid 30s.

*weighs head* Might be, yes. *goes to google the two* Well, Zen has been born 1970 ... meaning when making the show he had been in his late twenties; George has been born ... huh, I don't seem to find the date anywhere. Maybe he never let it get puplic?
Anyways. I guess it's safe enough to simply assume he looks older than he is *pities the poor first mate (None should have to look older than they really are!)* and leave it to 8 years Sinbad's senior for this board.

@dermott: someone left a comment on one of my videos saying that he went to a convention (a long time ago) and Ed Naha explained that they wanted to exploit their romance on season 3 but this season never came so...

@sinbad: wow that's a good reflection! I never thought of this either! and they never talked about this on the show! no birthday's party!

Sheesh, he's done a lot of films as it seems. Have looked at imdb but even they had no date. But found that instead:

He is a biker, a weightlifter, a rock hound and a stamp collector. He's been collecting stamps since he was 5, and now exhibits them internationally. He had good inspiration - his Hungarian grandfather once designed stamps.

I tried to google George´s age too, earlier and didn´t find anything.
Zen was born in 1970, yep so he was like 28.
... which makes me wonder why there are no such people in their late 20s running around here. Unfair, mean world.

I would have expected all that... minus the stamp collection thing ;D

Somehow I thought Sinbad and Maeve were in the mid twenties to early thirties. Doubar looked 40, which if Sinbad was say 30, then that would be 10 years difference. Rongar looked older than Sinbad but younger than Doubar. Firouz could be a little younger than Doubar. Maeve looked the youngest.

Probably the beard, bald head, and hair makes him look older. I look older with a beard. And you become bald at a early age. My friend is bald, and he is 27. Also you could get grey had in the late 30s, early 40s. Caucasians are susceptible to getting grey hair early. Asians seem to have more resistance. www.loc.gov/rr/scitech/mysteries/grayhair.html
