Licking his lips, Scratch continued to converse with the human woman. "My, you'd make a tasty morsel. I dunno when I ate the last human, was it one of Sir Kingsley's children? I don't remember. But I jest, I've got no plans to eat you, actually. Call me a pervert, but hey, I do have good taste in beautiful women when I see one." Scratch winked. "The only thing I want to do is look out for your best interests. You seem to have the blues and hatred towards a certain lass, right? I could help you get your revenge on dear sweet Bryn. She did some bad things to me, as well as her bunch of stupid little friends!" Scratch clenched his clawed hands hatefully.
"An enemy of Bryn is certainly a friend of mine, m'dear." Scratch grinned like a gentleman. "Oh yeah, in case ya didn't get the memo, I'm Scratch. Nice to meet ya, Sarah." he extended out his hand to Sarah for a handshake.

@ Doubar: Hehe, I made Scratch's dialogue have two undertones. One is that he's hitting on her, or two, he wants to eat her. They're all undertones, not literal desires, since the only literal intention of his is to use Sarah as a puppet to destroy the Nomad crew

The forest was grim and foggy and if it weren't for Scratch's repeating voice, Sarah would have gotten lost in there, or worse, eaten by a Venus Flytrap. Normally the beasts in the forest would have attacked her, but under Scratch's power, they were all indifferent towards the human who was walking in their territories. The devil's voice continued to ring out until he sensed that Sarah would stop before a wide clearing. In the middle of the clearing, a stack of firewood was laid down.
"No need to start the fire, I'm the man for the job!" the voice rang out once more, and the flames suddenly burst out from the firewood. Scratch himself jumped out of the flames, and sat down with his legs crossed on a log nearby.
"Did my transportation frighten you? Good, because the rest of your journey will be quite fun!" Scratch spoke in a malicious giddy tone. "Sit down, dearie, you look quite scared. But on the other hand, you -do- smell good!" Scratch took a sniff of her scent and was quite pleased with the result.

@ Sarah: Exactly. Just because a family expects something from you, doesn't mean that you have to follow their footsteps. It destroys the point of being yourself (in moral standards or whatnot.)
Media theft happens everywhere. Music, movies, you know it.

Oh for Lucifer's sake, school's such a merciless slavery machine. U_U It's good that reading week (as in my break) will commence in a few hours, and hey all. Sorry about the absence, like I said, school really takes over my schedule.

Sometimes when you think an artist is awesome, he turns out to be a blatant plagiarist. Someone ended up tracing nearly every Bleach/Naruto/Hellsing manga arts and put into his own comic called "Incarnate." And that someone is none other than *drumrolls* Nick Simmons, the son of Gene Simmons. Whether his dad knows about it or not, I'm sure he'd be pretty disappointed at what sort of a leech his son has become. You can read the whole article here: www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2010-02-25/nick-simmons-incarnate-halted-over-alleged-bleach-plagiarismSeveral comparisons of the two mangas (I refuse to call his plagarized crap a manga or comic or art) can be seen here: community.livejournal.com/bleachness/446299.htmlIt's funny how most celebrities' kids end up getting slammed on the media by nude photos or having a cheating affair, but this one so far is pretty much low. Also, calling it low would be a massive understatement. It's okay to be influenced by someone's work, but it's not okay to directly copy word for word or picture by picture. Epic fail.

@ Doubar and Bryn: No, Scratch is merely going along with the program, since -Sarah- wants to kill Bryn, and thus he's using this as an advantage to make her kill Sinbad and the others too. And Bryn, Scratch was going to spy on Caipra and Bryn's conversation, since he felt he could use Bryn to take down the nomad crew some day, but his viewscreen took a different turn, and led him to look at Sarah, since her essence of vengeance was too strong for Scratch to ignore. So at the moment, no, Scratch does not have any plans to use Bryn, but he's using Sarah as a pawn, yes. Understood?

@ Bryn: I plan to manipulate Sarah, of course . Check the latest posts in the port of Asher section. Basically Scratch is using Sarah to kill Bryn and the Nomad crew at the same time. Speaking of which, I should get around to posting. @ Doubar: Yeah, I'm especially looking forward to Firouz' opinion in this matter. It'd make a great addition to the overall story at one point, I'd say

Now here's a note I'm addressing. Y'know, after rewatching the Trickster episode this morning, I noticed that Firouz being afraid of fire didn't ever play out in any future AOS episodes. During at some later point during this game's plot, would you all like that scenario of the inventor's trauma towards fire to happen? (here's looking at you Firouz I'd love for Scratch to play a role in his trauma, since he does afterall, love to bother people with fire. Then again if Scratch being a foe gets totally redundant, Firouz' oppenent could be some fire djinn or something.

It's exclusive for Canada, so it's held by Canadians of course. I heard that they brought King Tut's original sarcophagus all the way from Egypt to there, but sadly I was misinformed about that part, since Tutankhamen's tomb still remained in Egypt.

*cannot blink and stares at the jewelery for a long time* They are simply pretty. I'd gladly have em' ;D And yeah, I've yet to own a Senet game, and would love to learn that game, since it's been a while since I've actually played a board game, lol. I saw the ancient version of that boardgame in the exhibit, and you know what else I saw? A toilet seat which was used in those ages XD The King Tut exhibit really did follow the layout of the tomb, minus booby traps of course . Some guy beside me made that joke and I ended up cracking into laughter. XD
