One of my favourite episodes from this season.
Velda was great, a very interesting character in this season. They were a great couple with Firouz, two great brains. The ending scene was funny and nice.
Borrell was also an interesting character. I expected at first that he has a connection with the events in the city together with his brother and it was a pleasant surprise, that he was not a participant in this.
Bryn's protection before the guards was powerful, but I have never understood why she did not use it at the end, when the guard wanted to give her a tattoo.
Doubar's meeting with guards was funny. In the scene when they laughed him i said myself: "You have no idea how this ends."

Yay, it's one of my favs from S2 as well. It was really so lovely to see Firouz having a lady friend. And the two were indeed great together. He was so protective of her, always close to her and holding her hand. To be honest, I was quite astounded when I saw this side of the inventor for the first time. It's not that I couldn't have imagined him to be like this, it's just... dunno, he's just always been the mildly scatterbrained inventor and later brilliant physician that somehow I never associated him with having a lady somewhere. x) Oh, and Borrell... he was the older brother, right? Well, I must admit that, if I recall correctly, I didn't really suspect him to be behind this anyway. He seemed too genuinely concerned and actually shaken about the events. His brother in contrast was all too obviously annoyed and indifferent which made me be suspicious as soon as I saw those two. Still, indeed Borrell was very interesting as a character. Especially since in the end he decided that it did not matter whether the other guy (sorry, forgot his name xD ) was his brother or not - he was responsible for the plague and thus he would not cry a single tear over his death. That's quite a tough thing to do, and shows just how commited to his people Borrell really is. As for Bryn: Aye, powerful it was. And why she couldn't safe herself... well, I just guess that the reason is her lack of control. Magic comes to her whenever it pleases it, or when her emotions are triggering it - and that usually happened, if I remember correctly, when someone else was in danger. So it would appear normal she couldn't summon it to free herself when she was about to be given the tattoo, yet when she and Velda were in dire peril it revealed itself to be quite effective. Hehehe, and yup, you'd better never make fun of this sailor. xD

You have truth with Borell. I suspected him at the beginning where Sinbad asked why Borell did not try to stop the black guards. But the rest of the episode was described as a nice guy. His brother named Carga or similarly.
The same mistake with Doubar also made the guard at the beginning: "You did not understand me, the sailor. You do not go anywhere."
It was really interesting to watch the new side of our inventor.

Oh, true that, before we got to actually see Borell it seemed like he could be behind this. Haha, and right - Doubar was not taken seriously twice in that ep, and both times it did not end well for the one who did so. xD

I can not remember to one thing from this episode, maybe someone could help me? It was mentioned there if this plague was caused by this evil brother from the beginning, or there was a normal illness at first and he decided to use this situation for his own profit?
