Nice to see someone else noticed that, too. I really like that scene as well. For, shippiness aside, it shows that she's becoming part of the crew and that she's being valued as such. This was really the great scene and I similarly like the scene where the demon tried to kill Doubar and Bryn was so afraid of him that it gave her the enormous strength to perform a powerful spell. There were more hints of the possible relationship than i thought before. The similar recycled places were more, for example when the crew visited the market in the monster, it was the market from The return of Sinbad. Or it looked that Omar and Ali Rashid shared the same prison and maybe Borell from The city under plague as well (but this i do not remember correctly). And the most of villages looked similarly as the village from The Village vanishes. And we would probably find more of this in the both seasons.

There were more hints of the possible relationship that i thought before. Oooh, I love that scene as well, and I agree with you. In fact, there are many scenes - little moments, gestures, a look - that could hint towards a deeper connection between those two. They clearly are close friends but if you ask me, they have so many scenes together that easily could indicate for something more developing beneath the surface if it weren't for the obvious Bryn/Sinbad angle. Hah, if you want I can check if I still got the list I made back in the days. It's a pretty long one. x) Seriously, I never noticed until you guys alerted me to it. Guess I really was the viewer they hoped for - completely blind to all the recycled props and locations and stuff. x)

I take these things only as the interesting insights, not very important and i have seen it in different tv series as well. And honestly for example the villages look similarly very often, houses or some workshops, what else we should expect? Only situation when i did not really like the similar recycled footages was in the Monster, i saw it in my dubbing after a few long years and i had the impression at first that i watched the Sacrifice by mistake. (the storm in the Monster used a lot scenes from the Sacrifice, i think that there it was really evident)
And do you maybe have the similar list? It sounds very interestingly.

I know what you mean. I don't really mind the recycling either. And sure, I still have that list. Never got around to finishing it though, which probably is a good thing considering how long it already was. I can post it if you like. The world thinks me to be insane anyway, a list of canon Doubar/Bryn moments can't make it worse.

I only thought about it in connection with the Sinbad's offer to Tetsu in this episode that he would be warmly welcomed on the board of Nomad. Do you think that would be interesting to see Tetsu as a member of the crew (maybe only for some time)? Do you think that it would change the dynamics of the crew a lot?

And that part about the babies was... weird to say the least. Didn't the village elders or Tetsu say that the kids were both human and demonic, but then the women are freed and the children are... what, cured? I don't know. According my translation of the episode it looks that this was not a mistake. Compera said that these children will become demons immediately after his entering into their bodies. Sinbad and Tetsu simply managed to kill before he did it.

Oh, so they're more like perfect hosts for him but not exactly demonic on their own? That makes sense, yes.

Did you notice how fast Nomad is? At the beginning of the episode Sinbad and the crew decided to travel "somewhere" (they did not know the exact location) and they were able to arrive there almost at the same time as Tetsu with this Dinalla who were on the same island and probably not so far from the village. Even if we assume that these two islands were very close to each other, the speed of the ship and its members must be enormous.
