Eeeep. This is the first time I actually notice that the temple in this ep is the same one as in The Eye of Kratos. I know, I know, 2K, you already knew this... but maybe some others were as oblivious as I was. xD

Lol, Rongar eating his apple while Sinbad fights ;D I love that scene. We didn't get to see the mischievous Rongar that much in S1. Oh, now the whole crew is having a craving. How funny ;D Sinbad's hairdo: too much flat iron. Oh well, his hair gets curlier after. Hmmm, Sinbad, Tetsu ? Not very gentlemen of you Sinbad : ''What happened (to Bryn) ? Firouz : She just dropped. Tetsu and Sinbad turn around as if they didn't care at all. Firouz stroking Bryn's hair : cute, comforting. That gesture reminds me of someone Okay, sorry but I HAD to post this. Way too much eyeliner *rolls on the floor laughing* When Doubar thinks of a plan and asks Bryn her opinion about it, it reminds me of how Sinbad used to ask Maeve, the same way. I like how Doubar trusts her even though she hasn't been part of the crew for a long time. *Gasps* What is that ?! Oh no ! It's eerie, threatening toilet paper ! Firouz being posessed and trying to kill everyone : I loved that scene, too. It really shows another side of Tim's acting and I think he really did a good job. I liked seeing a stronger, more powerful Firouz, too. This episode is the second,in s2, insists on the brotherhood uniting the bearers of the bracelet right from the start. Not that bad, but the episodes with The Ronin are not my favorite, for both seasons.

Looool! I love your thoughts on the ep, Fire. ;D But it's true - Rongar eating his apple while Sinbad fights is awesome. ;D Ugh, I feel it's absolutely worst in "The Monster" though. Not that carrying Bryn like a sack of potatoes would be though. xD Maybe I'm just too tired to remember, but whom does it remind you of? Ahaha, and great eye-liner pic. I must confess I never really noticed. xD xD Nice to see someone else noticed that, too. I really like that scene as well. For, shippiness aside, it shows that she's becoming part of the crew and that she's being valued as such. Lol, yeah, one of the S2 two inventions. And it gave him the opportunity to be bad for once, too.

Hahahaha ! The evil toilet paper evolution ? *deep guttural advertising voice* THE EVIL DIAPER. Mouhahahahaha !!! Oh gosh, the hairdo. They really had trouble with their hair and make up staff lol. About the hair stroking thing : Sinbad is the one who usually does this. It was nice to see Firouz do it too as a caring gesture Okay, okay, it is subjective, but to me it shows it can be a friendly gesture too. Even though I'm convinced with Maeve it was different ;D

Hahahaha ! The evil toilet paper evolution ? *deep guttural advertising voice* THE EVIL DIAPER. Mouhahahahaha !!! *cracks up* ;D Aw, you're right indeed. I suspected you would mean Sinbad stroking Maeve's hair in "The Trickster" but wasn't sure.

An avarage episode, it was good to see Tetsu again, but it was boring sometimes.
The journey of Sinbad and Tetsu was not interesting for me. Compara was decribed as a powerful demon, but his magic seemed to me quite weak, especially the evil toilet paper. It was very ridiculous.
The second line with possessed Firouz was more interesting. Tim got an oportunity to play the bad guy and his performance was good. But he could have killed one of the people at least if he did not decide to hit the table at first and inform them about his intentions. They could do it a better way.
There was a nice moment during the first battle, when Rongar was sitting and was eating a kind of fruit (apple?).

Myeah, wasn't the best ep ever. But it was at least the only other ep in which Maeve was mentioned. It was somewhat nice to have Tetsu ask for her. But as for the plot itself - I agree, it wasn't all too fascinating. Let alone that this Compera guy was a weird villain. Rather weak indeed although he was compared as very powerful and his demons held quite some impressive magic of their own (to be honest, I found his servants to be more dreadful than Compera himself) - after all they were even able to take posession of someone while Compera had to rely on evil toilet paper. And that part about the babies was... weird to say the least. Didn't the village elders or Tetsu say that the kids were both human and demonic, but then the women are freed and the children are... what, cured? I don't know. Only interesting and good part was indeed Tim's oportunity to be evil for once. Although I agree with you, the scene could have been written in a better way. But I guess they had to cut it down to little time because Tetsu and Sinbad were the main plot, so there was no chance for developing a long story of a posessed Firouz endangering the others. Yeah, it would appear that was an apple. And the scene was rather amusing. ^^

The mention of Maeve was nice, it would be strange, if Tetsu without any questions simply greeted Bryn. But Sinbad mentioned, that she is under the protection of Dim Dym, but Tetsu knows who is Dim Dym? I am not sure.
It is really true, that the horsemen looked more powerful than Compera. The moment when Firouz became posessed was brilliant. One moment Firouz was thinking about something and suddenly his face became more evil. He played it very well. It was the luck that the demon chose Firouz. For the rest of the people would be bad if he posessed Rongar or Doubar. In the connection with it, it looked during the fight that the crew is alone in the house.
