I've been rewatching that one lately and whoa, Dermott is sooooo scary here. www.youtube.com/watch?v=9wrV59QD2fU-> From 1:45 onwards. Plus, before I watched that one again I had totally forgotten that obviously Bryn was able to confer some of her power on the bird. P.S.: Did any of you ever notice the slight (and most likely not intended ) shippiness of Doubar/Bryn scenes that can be found in that ep? xD

Huh, do you mean those B/D scenes that I mentioned (has no idea though if anyone else would find them to be shippy at all xD )?

*grins* Well, think that's no surprise, as most likely I guess those scenes were just meant to show that the crew are friends and take care of each other. However, with a little imagination they can be pretty shippy if you ask me. ^^ Uh well, okay, it's only Doubs who's acting like that but hey, who cares? ;D 1) www.youtube.com/watch?v=9wrV59QD2fU&feature=relatedWatch from 3:00 on. 2) www.youtube.com/watch?v=hdM1TStak80&feature=relatedWatch from 2:50 on. In both cases Doubar seems to be really worried about Bryn which I personally find to be slightly sweet. ;D

@wind: Yup. I'm aware the fact though that most likely this was nothing but caring for a friend / someone who's like a(nother) little sister to him, but uh well, I still find it to be way sweet [and love to interpret it in another way *shifty eyes, grins broadly*]. ;D

You're right! All it needs is a little adjustment, and it's easy to see that there could more be between them.

Just watched this episode today for the first time. I agree Doubar; though probably it was meant more as a caring for a friend sort of thing, it certainly isn't hard to interpret it as something more! What's with the crew leaving those people in the cage?!? They all head out and you can see the group in the cage watching them go with this expression of, "Hey wait, what about us?".

Heh, indeed, I, too, am rather sure it was meant to be nothing but caring for a friend... but still I just like to look at those things from a different angle. What's with the crew leaving those people in the cage?!? They all head out and you can see the group in the cage watching them go with this expression of, "Hey wait, what about us?". Looool! I did never notice them before, but you're right! ;D ;D That's so hilarious!!! Especially since they really look at the crew like you said. And the guys (and lady ^^ ) just walk them by and don't care at all. Mean, mean sailors they are. And so selfish. ;D ;D Bryn: Er, guys, there are others in the dungeons, too. Shouldn't we go and free them? Sinbad: *walking by* Ah, they'll figure out how to escape. Firouz: But what with the guards? Will they really let them out? Doubar: Who cares? Let's go home. We've been heroic enough today. Rongar: *shrugs* [/random mental picture] Thanx for sharing, Kalani.

You're welcome! -bows- lol
Just watching that end part and watching them leave those other people imprisoned, I was like... huh? Wait a minute crew, what are you doing leaving those people behind! After having seen the first season quite a few times and this being the first time I've ever seen the second season episodes, it was really rather quite jarring; definitely did not seem like something that Sinbad would do! At least not season 1 Sinbad. lol

Or the director counted on poeple like me who didn't even take notice of those poor imprisoned ones (which might also be due to me having never really watched the end of this ep thoroughly, though). xD
