Summary:
As Sinbad and his crew sail past a once lovely island, they hear strange howling and see an eerie light emanating from within the island. As they sail by, they hear an anguished human voice. Against their better judgement, they go ashore to help. Once on the beach, they see a woman protecting her child from swooping harpies. To the rescue, Sinbad's brother Doubar attempts to slash one of the harpies and is carried off. The terrified mother, Tera, describes a vision she saw of a raven haired woman in the sky putting a curse on Sinbad. In the vision, the witch commands demons to steal and destroy the secret stone that protects the island from evil. Sinbad knows it is the work of Rumina.
They rush over the hill and find Doubar slicing at a hovering harpy. As the crew jumps in to help, Maeve throws a fireball into the sky which makes the harpies disappear. The leader of the village, Tera's husband Aptor, takes them to see the "Griffin's Egg," a flawless almond-sized emerald, believed to be the crystallization of all that is good. The emerald has been powerful enough to keep away the evil Turok and his daughter Rumina until today, the anniversary of Turok's death at Sinbad's hand. Feeling remorse for the trouble he has caused the island, Sinbad vows to kill Rumina once and for all. With Aptor's permission, they take the stone and sail to Skull Island, Rumina's lair on The Isle of Tears.
Meanwhile at Skull Island, Rumina mourns over her father's body and severed head. Rumina promises she will gain enough power to kill Sinbad and his friends and send life's dark force through her father's veins once again. Suddenly Scratch, the devil himself, appears. The half goat, half man makes a deal with Rumina. He offers her extra power in return for the souls of Sinbad and his friends. To seal the bargain he brings Turok's head to life and promises to bring the body to life later. Rumina gazes into her magic fountain and sees Sinbad and Aptor making plans to attack the far side of the island. With her new amulet from Scratch, she casts the spell of her dreams; a legion of flying poisonous harpies, an army of skeleton warriors and two giant rock monsters to attack Sinbad.
Unaware of Rumina's impending attack, Firouz and Sinbad hatch a plan to deliver an exploding "Griffin's Egg" to her lair. However, when they arrive on the shore of the island, they are attacked by Rumina's invincible army of harpies, skeletons, and rock monsters. Maeve is able to kill some of the troops with a gigantic fireball but not enough to stop the attack. Sinbad uses Firouz's missile to send the rock monsters into a crushing tomb. Undaunted, the remaining army regroups for another attack. They quickly devise a plan to have Dermott risk his life and fly the "Griffin's Egg" into the grotto. Although they succeed in destroying her lair, they are unable to do the same to Rumina. Later, unbeknownst to them all, Turok's hand rises up from the rubble. Scratch has kept his word and made the evil sorcerer whole.
