No it's an organized trip by my College. We're about 35 students to go, plus 5-6 teachers!

Be gentle with the teachers. Class trips are exhausting for them *speaks from experience*

What's so special about New York? Its just a big city with a lot of taxi cars. But I would recommend going to Central Park. You can see the Statue of Liberty from there.
I think 5:00 o'clock is the driver's lunch break, so you can not get a ride for about an hour. Or maybe it is 3:00 pm. Anyway, most places are within walking distance and there are public subways and buses besides cabs.
Are you going through JFK airport or are you driving? If you are going through JFK, don't freak out when it looks like the plane is going to land over water. If you are driving, enjoy the tall bridge that connects Canada and New York state.

Well, be a little more humble Bryn. Maeve dearest, I wish you a safe and enjoyable trip!

Thank you Firouz!
And to answer your question Bryn, we are driving the whole night long to get there, so I doubt I'll be able to see all the great bridges you talked about. Maybe on our way back I will...

*chuckles* ;D Well, it depends. On the North pole sometimes it´s bright daylight even though it´s night, ha

*rolls her eyes and sighs*
I think "North pole" is the key word here...
If New York is the North pole for you, I'm seriously beginning to doubt you're navigation abilities, Captain!

This was not about navigation, but about trying to explain Bryn´s confusion

I knew that!
*walks away angrily*
