Rongar had aptly summarized the situation. Too bad that Caipra was the only one who heard. She was glad Firouz took the floor to explain to Sinbad what she herself had told them a few hours earlier. As Sinbad said, Rumina had disappeared for over a year and yet she remained in the minds of all who crossed her path. The old sorceress was sad to see that the people of Basra feared magic because of this witch. She would show them that magic was not always bad, but she feared the reaction of people. There was a time when the powerful Caipra feared nothing. But now things were different. She heard Firouz and Doubar talking about Bryn. She also began to worry about not seeing her again. She was about to say something reassuring when she suddenly froze on the spot. She felt something unusual. She looked around her. The customers of the tavern continued to talk as if nothing had happened, Caipra saw their lips move. But no sound came out of their mouths. Everything was silent until she heard a noise coming from outside the tavern. A scream. No. screams. Someone was in danger. Perhaps it was Bryn! But she then felt a powerful magic, very powerful. Caipra knew only too well that magic. It could only come from Rumina ... or her sister. In a moment all was as before. The sound returned to the tavern. Nobody seemed to have noticed what had happened. She stood up and stared at the door of the tavern, saying "Something is wrong!"

The moment Caipra suddenly raised from her stool, Doubar's eyes shot into her direction. Only seldomly did the wise Lady act hastily, but now, without any warning, she stood tall, tensed even, and watched the door intently. The first mate immediately put down his ale and, feeling his own muscles tense in response, asked: "What's the matter?" He didn't know just what it was that Caipra had heard, seen, sensed or whatever her magic did allow her to experience, but he sure didn't like the urgent tone of her voice.

As Caipra jumped to her feet, Rongar jumped to his.
He had a feeling she had heard of felt what he most definately had heard.
He really hated being a mute.
Because it allowed him to hear the screams of pain while the others were blissfully ignorant.
He slammed his palm on the table, pointed to his dirks, and then to the door.
He didn't even bother to wait.
He lunged for the door.
He had a funny feeling; wherever they found those screams...they'd find Bryn too.
He hoped she was all right.
He wouldn't forgive himself otherwise.....

"Does anyone care to tell me what this is about?" Doubar's words came out as a semi-harsh request, but too much was he startled by the action of his two friends. He stole a brief glance towards Sinbad and Firouz but saw nothing but the same confusion he felt in their eyes. "Is something wrong with Bryn?" The first mate tossed this question at both - the sorceress and his mute friend; already having the premonition that this in deed was about their brunette. Rongar was always extremely controlled and there was practically only one scenario that could make him act like he did: when his friends or family were in danger. Swiftly then Doubar rose to his feet as well, letting his eyes wander to his tall friend and fixing him with his gaze. Rongar would answer his question now or else the first mate was near to losing it for there was exactly one thing that could really annoy Doubar and this was was not to know what's going on.

Sinbad had still be pondering what Caipra had said about Rumina, but he didn´t get much time to mull over it. All of a sudden, the place seemed to be in an uproar. And with Caipra acting all strange, Rongar making for the door and his brother demanding what the matter with all this was, the captain rose to his feet instantly, food and drink forgotten for now.
He hadn´t worried for Bryn much because as had been stated before, she was a grown woman and fully capable of fending for herself, but now his gut feelings told him that something was off and he inwardly cursed himself at not being able to have his senses or instincts warn him earlier.
Briefly wondering what to do first, whether to call Rongar back or to calm down his brother, he settled for another, probably more rational option. He hadn´t been sitting too far away from Caipra and with a few steps he was next to her, grabbing her arm. Not demandingly, not in a way like someone superior would, but like someone who feels something is off, someone who is worried for a friend and who has a feeling that it´s essential to act quickly. "Caipra." he adressed her, seeking her gaze. "What wrong? Is this about Bryn? Where is she?" The last two sentences were a shot into the dark, partly fuelled by a suddenly stirring bad consciousness. Maybe it had been a bad idea to have her wander off alone...

Firouz stood and glanced about him worriedly.
Rongar was already near the door, Doubar was demanding answers, Caipra was worried, and Sinbad was trying to get answers out of Caipra.
He understood Rongar easily enough with his actions and made a few connections on his own.
He looked at Doubar and asnwered for Rongar, so the First Mate wouldn't be angry at him, "Rongar and Caipra must hear something."
He added as he pointed to their moorish friend, "Rongar wouldn't be rushing out of here if he wasn't hearing something we aren't."

At Firouz's words, Doubar calmed down a little even though he still felt the uncomforting trace of being left in the dark running through his veins. "Then why don't they say so", he grumbled at his inventor friend but immediately felt bad for doing so. It was not his fault that Rongar and Caipra had not explained their actions till now; and most likely Doubar didn't even have the right to blame those two either. After all whetever they had sensed - heard maybe - startled them enough to forget about explanations and the people inside this tavern - who by now were all eyeing the sailors that were acting all so strangely. After taking a deep breath, the first mate directed his eyes back to the curly haired man next to him and willed his words to come out as calm as possible. "'Suppose you're right, Firouz", he finally voiced, "Sorry for ranting at you." After a moment then he added: "And still I would feel much better if I knew just what this is all about. If Bryn is in danger then..." The first mate didn't finish his sentence. He hated being left in the dark - all the more when one of his friends maybe was in trouble.

Caipra was about to follow Rongar when Sinbad grabbed her arm. She listened Sinbad without really hearing him. The old sorceress focused her attention on the sounds coming from outside the tavern. But she heard nothing. The cries had ceased and all was calm again. She looked all round to her friends and then stopped on Sinbad. They were all watching her, waiting for an answer. She stared at the captain a few seconds and then said, looking in his eyes: "I have not the time to explain. We have to find Bryn!" Caipra knew that this answer was not enough for them but it was the truth. They had already lost too much time. They had to find Bryn quickly. She freed herself from the grip of Sinbad and walked towards the door where Rongar was waiting impatiently for the others follow him.

With a heavy heart and a soul full of guilt and loss, Bryn let her shaky legs take few steps before stopping in front of the tavern's door. She raised her eyes to look at the door and discovered that her vision was still blurry from the tears which threatened to flow down again. She took another deep breath and gulped to swallow the salty taste of tears. She had to stop that damn weakness which began to invade her since she left that horrible scene. If she wanted not to attract the whole curious eyes in the tavern and especially her mates', she had to take control over her feelings and try to be normal. "Normal, who do you think you are fooling….., your mates or yourself?" she startled as she heard the sound of her thoughts echoed in sarcasm tone through her head but tried to ignore her weary mind and push those thoughts aside. She stretched her hand to the doorknob of the tavern's door, but she stopped in the half of the way when she heard the same sound scream in her mind again "THINK FOR ONCE, how you will face your mates? The people who trust you with their lives, how can you enter and face them with innocent smile ignoring what you already have done?" Bryn felt a wave of nausea waved over her and leaned against a wall next to the tavern's door .she felt her chest rise up and down irregularly, she was in a confused mood that she could not be able to doubt in the nature of these thoughts. She heard her self murmur with inaudible voice, "Yes how can I face my friends, how dare to, after what I have done, but the question is what is that I really did?"," I can not remember but darkness". She heard her thoughts reply to her with sarcastic anger "oh believe me, you did horrible things, but you do not want to admit them, do not you see the look on the face of the boy and the gang leader, may be it is another fool move from your magic"," then what should I do" she caught her self asking helplessly as she ran her fingers though her dark tresses nervously. "RUN AWAY", she felt her body tremble with surprise and shook from the words but at the same time she felt it the correct decision. This was the better decision for all of her crew. She did not seem to be so useful for them at all. She was so mysterious, cursed and over that all guilty. She drew her self up and had a last look at the door which conceal behind its wood, the people she loved most, and before her passion overcome her soul and decision, she turned and began to leave.

Doubar felt his eyes grow wide at the terrible urge and worry that lay in Caipra's words. So this all was indeed about their friend who had just wanted to take a walk. What in the world happened out there?, the first mate heard a thought echo in his head; worry now spreading in him as well. Only briefly did he cast a glance at his younger brother whom Caipra just had left standing by. "Whatever this is about", he then grumbled his way, "it better did not harm the little one!", before moving to follow the wise soreceress and with this their mute friend.

Caipra passed Rongar, opened the door and stopped short. The young sorceress was standing there and turned her back. The old sorceress felt with sadness the confusion that reigned in the minds of Bryn. This powerful magic that she had not conscious and that, therefore, she can't controlled had resurfaced. * My God, what has she done? * Wondered Caipra fearing already know the answer. Caipra wanted to say something but a single sound came out of her mouth. "Bryn?"

Bryn was about to leave when she heard the door of the tavern open quickly as if there was someone waiting behind it to show up in the proper time. She heard a familiar voice calling her name with a weird mixture of concern, sadness, and...may be fear covering it. She recognized the sound quickly and to her fear it was the voice of the last one she wanted to see right now….Caipra!. A part of her mind wanted urgently to ignore the old woman's call and continue her way. But the sound of prudence overcame her this time." What done is done and you can not run away now in front of the old sorceress to make your situation worth and more puzzling". She turned to face caipra slowly unaware that her body began to shake lightly. And unlike what she wanted, her eyes clashed with the old sorceress eyes. She saw the mixture of the feelings she heard before in her voice, coloring the deep wise eyes of the old lady. But she saw too a new feel beside those. The one that frightened Bryn most. It was knowledge. Trying to act as normal as she can Bryn let a faint smile curved her lips and gulped lightly before saying to the old woman "Ah…hi Caipra..i thought I was too late, y…you must be too worried about me.... I...i am sorry."

Rongar tilted his head with the omious silence that seemed to eminate from Bryn and Caipra.
He was behind the wise sorceress, but he could sense the emotions froom her through her body language. It was a mixture of knowing, caution, and fear?
Bryn was tense. Her body was shaking with emotions that were welling up in her eyes. She was scared of something.
Was she scared of herself?
Of them?
Everything?
He looked at Caipra once more and asked himself, Why does she fear Bryn?
He pursed his lips and turned to the others still behind him and Caipra.
He shook his head and waved them back to the table.
He placed both hands over his eyes and then moved them aside to reveal them and then contorted his face to show wisdom and then placed his fingers on his chin and moved them back and forth like talking.
He placed his hand on Doubar's shoulder and waved him back to the table.
He had a feeling that Caipra should talk to Bryn first, get her calmed down, and then have her bring Bryn in on her own power.

Right when Doubar had finally arrived at the door as well, Caipra had already opened it ... only to find a Bryn stand infront of it, looking lost and somewhat confused at the wise sorceress. Her words came out in rags, a small smile curving her lips but her eyes revealing the truth. Something was wrong with the girl - something that obviously Caipra and Rongar had an idea about. Doubar felt his mute friend lie a hand on his shoulder and motioning him back to the table. The first mate's gaze strayed to the petite brunnette who's dark eyes were still fixed on Caipra - a strange trace of fright lying in them - and felt he just couldn't surrender to the tall man's advice right now. Something out there had happened and being keenly aware of the distress that seemed to radiate from the brunette's small body, Doubar just couldn't simply go back right now and pretend that all was fine.

The others had been sitting closer to the door, therefore in the upcoming tumult they would have been the ones to reach the door first, but Rongar and Doubar hadn´t followed Caipra yet. Sinbad didn´t wait to see why that was so, therefore the gesturng of the moor passed him by. Instead, following his instincts and trying to catch up with the old sorceress he reached the door a moment after her.
He found Caipra outside and - much to his relief - Bryn was with her. But something about her was strange, looked off, evoked his concern immediately so the relieved grin that had begun to form on his face despite the earlier rush faded in an instant. "Bryn." he adressed her, concern on his face as he approached her, making his way away from the door and towards her, ignoring one or two bewildered onlookers from the other end of the street who were eyeing the small company with a mix of mistrust and interest. "We´ve been worried for you. Are you all right?" Something told him that she wasn´t, but the words were spoken before he thought that far.
