Watched that ep yesterday for the first time and have to admit that - asides from Hell House - this is the only ep of season two I actually like. It even remembered me a bit of season one: the rather friendly athmosphere (the countryside has been the same as in "The Rescue", right?), the rather fantastic storyline, the whole whoa-there-even-are-some-crewmates-acting-thing and last but not least no ambiguous scenes between Bryn and Sinbad: --- *starts a poor try of copying that live-blogging-thing though knowing that without any screenshots to add it won't even be half as good* --- *sees Sinbad leave Bryn behind to distract Mutaro* Awww, see. He's leaving her behind. *smiles* He had never ever done so with Maeve. *inner S/M shipper sighs happily* ... *watches Sinbad run for Bryn as the beast grumbles again* Huh, so you're gonna get her now? *snorts* Well, yeah, go brave hero. Save your damsel in distress! ... Whow, wait. Bryn's going to stop that beast and you agreed on killing her if she fails??? *gets wide eyed* Now, that for sure you had NEVER done with Maeve!*crosses arms defiantly and is finally sure the captain does not care about in Bryn in any way that could compare their relationship to what he had with Maeve* --- ;D --- Only thing I missed was an explanation just why the boy has been able to create the monster and why he had the powers to realize everything he wished.

I don't remember very well this episode. I should re-watch it. But I quote all you have said Doubar. ;D ;D In second season Sinbad had NEVER been jealous of Bryn. But he would have fry Eyolf and Vincenzo in the boiling oil with pleasure ;D ;D And, By the way, your liveblogging is brilliant. Don't worry for the pictures, you can join them later

I don't remember that episode very much, either. But I was just scrolling for pictures, and came across this: What the? Is that Bryn flying?

She isn't flying. The invisible monster got her

The invisible monster. What next, they have purple dragons? I mean, come on, you had aliens, that Indian mythological being, a gryphon, a gorgon, vampires, evil puppets (from Puppetmaster right?). What next? At least Season I had some continuity in villains. Here, it seems like they are throwing in whatever they can think of.

Either that or she´s just getting a cold butt Is there even an episode in season 2 when she isn't?? ;D ;D ;D At least Maeve wore a lot of cloaks. I've always thought: Why those two don't wear trousers? They are sailing on a ship after all

Easy explanation: So the male audience has something to oggle at And since season two was intended to be "sexier" than season one, there was no cloak for Bryn. And a shorter skirt where you would see her panties whenever she stumbled over a log

I never noticed Bryn's skirt was shorted than Maeve's. Actually, I thought Maeve's outfit was sexier than Bryn's.

Hehe, yeah, found that pic, too when yesterday I was doing some screen caps to add to my post (which I will do this evening ... gotta go in a minute). It's been ridiculous just how obviousl they were trying to make the show "sexier". And, did anyone notice that this invisible monster looked just like that giant squirrel in "The sacrafice"?

@doubar Maybe the show was going so bad that they went short of money, and recycled the same monster @sinbad /Firouz Agree with everything

There use several scenes which were the same throughout Season I, so I am not surprised they used the same monster, just did some editing.
Some scenes of the Colossus was the same as the rock monster created by Rumina. The scenes of the giant crab was the same in both Ties That Bind and the Trickster. Several scenes of Dermott were the same.
As for sexy, I thought Season I was sexier than Season II. It was sort-of like a Babe Watch (instead of Baywatch) in Bagdad, though I did not think of it till someone mentioned it on the internet. Both Rumina and Maeve, reoccurring characters, were hot. Even though Maeve's outfit was longer and covered more than Bryn's, her breasts were clearly visible. And the white dress under the brown vest seemed to make it stand out. But anyway, Jackie was a model, so of course Maeve looked hot. For Rumina, damn, she chose some sexy outfits. And you could almost always see her bellybutton. And there were plenty of other guest characters who were also hot, but Rumina and Maeve were the two hottest female characters in Season I.
Season II did not seem sexier for me but darker. Sure Bryn's outfit might have been shorter, but because it seemed to blend in with her skin, it did not matter to me. (Man, someone needs to take art class when designing a costume.) The guest female characters were not that hot and a lot of them actually scared me by how they acted. The only hot female guests I thought was Mala and that girl in Griffin's Tale. I don't know if a girl might have enjoyed watching Sinbad play around in leather pants. That seem the only thing that really made Season II seem sexy.
